Missions

"This is all my desire: would I make known and worshiped Jesus Christ in all countries of the world so that for ever in Him and through Him glory may be given to the Holy Trinity, for ever and ever." Bl. Francis Gagelin, Foreign Missions of Paris, martyred in 1833 in Cochinchina (Vietnam)

A work of the Church, the Priestly Society of St. Pius X labors to spread the Gospel around the world, preaching the truths of the Faith and administering the sacraments of salvation to all men of good will, of all conditions, races and cultures.

The Society is essentially apostolic, because such is the Sacrifice of the Mass and because, as a rule, the members will have to exercise an exterior ministry. They will live with the conviction that the whole efficacy of their apostolate flows from the Sacrifice of Our Lord, which they offer daily." (Statutes)

Currently, the main missions of the Society are settled in:

Africa

  • Gabon
  • Kenya
  • Zimbabwe

Asia

  • India
  • Philippines
  • Singapore

Dominican Republic

"A thousand thanks to Divine Providence who called me to this blessed mission, poor in worldly goods, but rich in crosses." Bl. Jacques Chastan, Foreign Missions of Paris, martyred in 1839 in Korea.
